These are a few examples of some of the circus websites, which will help me when designing my own within our group. I have been looking at the colour schemes and the compositions. Personally the best design is the first link. This is the most interactive, and most appealing, especially young children. In my opinion I believe that this expresses the fun of the circus the best out of all the websites which I have looked at. The opening page makes this website. The other examples which I have looked at, aren't as exciting as the others, this is a shame. As I feel that the websites need to sell the circus a lot more. This is probably why the circus isn't doing as well as it was in previous years, one because of the ban of exotic animals and the websites and flyers aren't exciting enough. I want to change this when designing my own website. The main colour which have repeated are yellow, red and blue. I will have to keep to this colour scheme as otherwise the website design won't be as successful.
The most uninviting website is the Zippo Circus as its very bland. Its overpowered by text and information. This hasn't got a bright colour scheme. A bright colour scheme could of made this website more appealing to the eye. The navigation is also very basic. Overall I feel that this website could be re - designed to make it visually more attractive. The next two websites (Big Apple and The Chinese State Circus) are similar in there design and colour schemes. Both have included videos, this makes the design more interactive. This is exactly how I think the websites should look. The typography on each website fit the purpose its trying to convey, I will be looking into this when coming up with my own designs. I will use font websites such as dafont.com to research into different styles as I feel that this is one of the main elements which you have to get right.
